  • Lana worked with me to find a home close to downtown Durham 2 years ago. Proximity was my priority, and the market was - and still is - incredibly tight. We looked at a number of houses, which helped me figure out things I liked and things I didn't. Throughout that process, Lana was patient, and made note of my must-haves and my just nice-to-haves. Then we found a house that seemed like a great fit, and lost it. However, that wasn't because Lana wasn't on top of things. We saw the house the day it was listed and put an offer in within 3 hours of that, losing it to someone who included an escalation clause in their offer, which I could not compete with. When all seemed lost, Lana spoke at length with the selling agent and found out that another house only a block over was going to be listed soon. We looked at it as soon as possible and I fell in love. We managed to wrap up a deal before it even hit the MLS.
